Airport Transfers FAQ
1. What are the conditions on international airport transfers offered through www.BratislavaHotels.com?
Since we regularly check with at least two of our partners to get you the best quote, the conditions may vary. However, unless stated otherwise the following conditions apply:
The transfer is operated not by www.BratislavaHotels.com but by a partner agency. The vehicles used by our partner companies are air-conditioned, equipped with state of the art safety devices (ABS, EDS, airbags), undergo annual safety inspections and are covered by a passenger accident insurance policy. Vehicles are driven by professional drivers who undergo annual driving examinations and medical checks.
We will give you the mobile phone number directly for our partner agency taking care of your pick-up. If any of your connecting flights are delayed, you are asked to phone the agency ASAP to have the driver rescheduled.
If the last leg of your flight is delayed by any amount of time, the driver will simply wait (he will know your flight number, so he will find out if there is a minor delay). If the car has to wait for a very long time (a delay of more than an hour), you may have to cover the cost of airport parking (about EUR 2 per hour).
The car is always provided exclusively for you and your party. Unless agreed otherwise, the driver will wait at the arrivals hall of the airport with a sign with your name on it.
You pay directly to the driver either in Slovak crowns or a slightly higher price in a major foreign currency (USD, EUR, GBP) reflecting the additional transaction costs. Alternatively, you can ask the driver to stop at the border to allow you to exchange money (there is a Foreign Exchange Counter at the border) and then pay in Slovak crowns. The driver will issue you a receipt for your payment.
2. What are the prices of airport transfers?
Information on Vienna and Budapest airport transfer prices is provided here. Prices and conditions may vary, as we use several local partners offering the best value for money. You will receive an exact price offer from our staff or directly from one of our partners.
For transfers from the Bratislava Airport, you may consider the public transport or ordering a radio taxi by telephone on arrival. The guaranteed service we offer is at SKK 390 (EUR 12.17). The driver will meet you on arrival and wait in case your flight is delayed. You can pay in cash or with credit card. Return transfer to the Bratislava Airport is available at SKK 350 (EUR 10.92).
3. Who provides the airport transfer services?
The Bratislava Hotels team has searched many local companies to find the ones that offer the best combination of quality service and cheap prices.
We have partnered with several airport transfer companies.
When you place a request for services, we select the provider with the most convenient provider. We get paid a small commission on most of these bookings.
4. How long does it take the transfer provider to respond?
All partners whose services are offered are contractually bound to respond to requests within 24 hours on working days. If they do not, please let us know. We do not cooperate with partners who do not meet these conditions to guarantee the best customer service possible.
5. How is the privacy of my information assured?

The information submitted in the Additional services offer request form is processed by our staff and forwarded directly to the partner agency offering the best terms on the given service.
www.BratislavaHotels.com only uses your information for two purposes - to get in touch with you if the partner agency requires more information and is unable to contact you and secondly, to request your feedback on the quality of your booking experience with us and the services of the partner agency providing the airport transfer.
If you do not reply to our e-mail request for feedback, we never contact you again by e-mail.
We will not send you or allow our partners to send you unsolicited commercial communication. Our contracts with hotels and other partners stipulate that all measures must be reasonably taken to protect the privacy of your information.
If you submit your physical address, we may send you a Christmas Card.
Occasionally, especially for high season periods, the partner agency may ask you to provide your credit card number or prepay the reservation.
