Apartment Augusta is a fully refurbished two bedroom apartment located in the Old Town close to the commercial Obchodna street, a lively area with lots of shops and restaurants.

The apartment consists of two separate bedrooms, each with three beds and a living room connected with kitchen, bathroom and a toilet. Apartment's kitchen is fully fitted and features a large kitchen table that seats six people. The apartment is equipped with a PC with broadband internet, LCD TV, microwave, fridge, hob, oven, dish washer, washing machine and iron.

Size of the apartment is 80 square metres (approx. 861 square feet) and apartment sleeps up to six persons. It is located in the second floor in the building without an elevator.

The apartment is not suitable for stag or hen nights, or for general partying. If you are planning to visit Bratislava to consume large amounts of alcohol, or there is a possibility that you will return
noisily to the apartment in the early hours, we would suggest that this is not the apartment for you.
Apartment is strictly non-smoking but smokers may use the balcony.

On request, apartment manager provides pick up from Bratislava Airport (EUR 30 both ways), Vienna Airport (EUR 100 both ways) and Bratislava train and bus station (EUR 15 both ways) by car for up to four guests. Request the pick-up in the comments section.

Children staying in baby cot are allowed free of charge. If sleeping in bed the full price must be paid.

Tram tunnel under the castle hill is undergoing reconstruction until September 2010 (estimated). Changes to the tram service include closing of the lines no. 11 and no. 14. Tram no. 16 replaces these lines with the service from Komisarky (Raca district) via city centre (Obchodna, SNP square and Kamenne square) to Astronomicka (Ruzinov). See the detailed timetable. Trams no. 1, 5 and 9 are re-routed via SNP square, Ludovit Stur square and the Danube embankment.

Reconstruction of tram tracks near Trnavske Myto affects tram lines no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14. Bus lines no. X6 and X14 service the affected stops.

From Airport take bus no. 61 to the terminus (Train station). (25 minutes)

From Main Train Station take tram no. 13 and get off at Vysoka stop. Cross the street and walk back for about 70 metres. Turn right at the triangle junction and walk for another 20 metres. The Apartment Augusta is located on your right in the building no. 4. (11 minutes)

From Bus Station take trolleybus no. 206 and get off at Spitalska stop. Walk about 50 meters to intersection with tramway. Cross the street, then again to the other side and walk about 50 meters. The Apartment Augusta is located on your left in the building no. 4. (8 minutes)

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartment Augusta. We are very satisfied with the apartment, and think it was in very good condition and was good value.
The apartment is in a great location and was very accessible for the centre of Bratislava.
The collection service at the airport was very good, especially as we arrived late at night, and the manager's assistance throughout our stay was first class.
