This luxurious reconstructed apartment (last reconstruction took part in July 2009) is located in very quiet street in the Old Town, historical centre of Bratislava. The Apartment Colour Blue at Heydukova street is a two-room apartment with a separate bedroom and a sitting room connected to the kitchen and dinette.

Apartment is located at the ground floor and all windows oversee an inner courtyard.

Apartment Colour Blue sleeps up to four persons.

Tram tunnel under the castle hill is undergoing reconstruction until September 2010 (estimated). Changes to the tram service include closing of the lines no. 11 and no. 14. Tram no. 16 replaces these lines with the service from Komisarky (Raca district) via city centre (Obchodna, SNP square and Kamenne square) to Astronomicka (Ruzinov). See the detailed timetable. Trams no. 1, 5 and 9 are re-routed via SNP square, Ludovit Stur square and the Danube embankment.

Reconstruction of tram tracks near Trnavske Myto affects tram lines no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14. Bus lines no. X6 and X14 service the affected stops.

Public transport directions
From Airport take bus no. 61 to Racianske myto stop. Change to tram no. 5 and ride to Postova stop. Go back about 20 meters, turn right and walk down Postova street for another 20 meters. Turn left and go through the underhouse passage. Turn left and go through the underhouse passage. Continue turning right and then left to Heydukova street. The Apartment Colour Blue is on your right in the building no. 4. (40 minutes)

From Main Train Station take tram no. 13 to Postova stop. Go back about 20 meters, turn right and walk down Postova street for another 20 meters. Turn left and go through the underhouse passage. Continue turning right and then left to Heydukova street. Apartment Colour Blue is on your right in the building no. 4. (11 minutes)

From Bus Station take trolleybus no. 206 and get off at Hodzovo square stop. Continue to underground passage to the left and exit to Postova street. Walk down Postova street for about 100 meters crossing the tram tracks. Turn left and go through the underhouse passage. Continue turning right and then left to Heydukova street. Apartment Colour Blue is on your right in the building no. 4. (11 minutes)

We were a bit worried when we arrived at the front of the apartment block and the passage leading to our apartment was dismal but the apartment was excellent and very comfortable.

Our appartmen was very clean and big. The only thing which was wrong was that the dish in the appartmen had mold in it, so we didn't cook at all.

The apartment is very well equipped, in a very quiet, very central location. Just the bed was a bit too hard for us, but otherwise everything was more than satisfying. At our arrival, the owner was very kind and helpful with our baggage and in explaining the facilities. Communication with him worked all the time excellently and immediately by email and by SMS as well. Even during our stay he asked if everything was ok. The own parking space is also great plus of "Apartment Color Blue"! And free internet access (including PC) as well.
We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed each of them! We have no complaints at all!

Very accurate. Our experience was good. The building looked nothing from the outside but once we got into the apartment we were impressed with the size of it, the facilities and the cleanliness. There were a few things we would have liked and picked up from Tesco, e.g. kitchen paper, box of tissues, towels to dry dishes etc. The owner kindly delivered some bath towels when we commented on how small the towels in the bathroom were. The bed made funny noises every time you turned over but was comfortable. Having a TV, music and computer was great and made us feel like home. Overall value was very good. It was also amazingly quiet. We never heard anyone in 4 nights.
