Garden Views is a newly refurbished one-bedroom apartment located in the Old Town close to the commercial Obchodna street, in a lively area with many shops and restaurants.

This quiet apartment consists of a spacious living room with a double sofabed, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with a power shower and bath-tub as well as a separate toilet.

The apartment is equipped with microwave, hob, oven, toaster, fridge/freezer, cable TV, CD/DVD player, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and iron and ironing board.

Size of the apartment is 80 square meters (approx. 861 square feet) and it sleeps up to four persons. The apartment is located on the first floor (not ground floor) in a building without elevator.

Tram tunnel under the castle hill is undergoing reconstruction until September 2010 (estimated). Changes to the tram service include closing of the lines no. 11 and no. 14. Tram no. 16 replaces these lines with the service from Komisarky (Raca district) via city centre (Obchodna, SNP square and Kamenne square) to Astronomicka (Ruzinov). See the detailed timetable. Trams no. 1, 5 and 9 are re-routed via SNP square, Ludovit Stur square and the Danube embankment.

Reconstruction of tram tracks near Trnavske Myto affects tram lines no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14. Bus lines no. X6 and X14 service the affected stops.

From Airport take bus no. 61 to the terminus (Train station). (25 minutes)

From Main Train Station take tram no. 13 and get off at Vysoka stop. Cross the street and walk back for about 70 metres. Turn right at the triangle junction and walk for another 20 metres. The Apartment Garden Views is located on your right in the building no. 4. (11 minutes)

From Bus Station take trolleybus no. 206 and get off at Spitalska stop. Walk about 50 meters to intersection with tramway. Cross the street, then again to the other side and walk about 50 meters. The Apartment Garden Views is located on your left in the building no. 4. (8 minutes)

The apartment was fantastic - clean, warm and all we needed. The owner was very helpful and kind and we couldn't have asked for better.

We thought there would be a pullout couch in the living room (we may have been unable to figure it out, but I'm pretty sure it was just a plain couch). It worked out fine, but was a little inconvenient. Also, we wanted an apartment for the opportunity to do laundry, but the machine was a little daunting so we didn't dare try. Directions on how to operate it would be helpful. Otherwise, we were very happy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and everything about it was fine. The manager was particularly helpful in pointing out on the map the theatres we had booked on the internet and bus routes. He also let us stop till 5:00pm because we had a late flight. This allowed us to have a last walk round your beautiful city.
