Latest feedback on Apartment Jedlikova - two bedrooms: Flat was very clean, but the smell coming from the trash area under the kitchen sink and coming from the small room (where all cleaning products are kept) opposite to the entrance door was very strong. Location excellent, better than description (closer to centre and Tesco).Stefano from Italy wrote on 21.02.2008 More feedback...

Visitors' feedback: Trinity from UK wrote on 01.12.2005: It was really good. It is a very nice apartment plenty of facilities. It has everything we needed to have a comfortable stay in Bratislava. It is a really good choice for tourist going to Bratislava. It is very close to the city centre and it's big and comfortable. The decoration of the apartment is lovely. The shower is very powerful and it is a warm apartment. We really love the place.Andrea from Italy wrote on 12.11.2005: I was pleased because previous comments posted on the website were not so encouraging but as far as I'm concerned the flat was clean, carpets and rugs were clean, the fridge was clean and I had nothing to complain about the quality of pillows that someone mentioned on the website. Still the bad smell from the drains outside the flat is evident. Maybe it should be mentioned on the description that the flat is indeed in the basement, which is a little inconvenient.
Only I had trouble with the DVD not working and the internet connection which required knowledge of username and password of the ADSL account owner. We had to ask the agency and only then we got it.
We only used one bedroom and it was alright. The other was smaller and with quite old furniture.
Central location, also Tesco is just 100 m away, walking distance. It's quiet even if in the centre of town given the fact it's in the internal basement of the building. It's spacious and overall I'd say it's pretty cheap if you travel in a group of 4 people. It doesn't have any very low point while it does have the big advantage of internet connection, which I really value a lot as I was in need to work from a distance on PC... Tourists they may not mind but businessmen on a trip they really would.
Very low point is the parking situation: it's written you can use public parking on the street but that's impossible because all spaces are reserved, or they are just for 2-hrs parking at most with payment. There are sure parking areas nearby, but not all of them are open 24 hrs a day, and those one that are have fares which are quite high, as there's no daily fare unless you stay for over a week (and I think you also got to reserve in advance your slot).
We found the best solution was to use Opera Garaz in Palackeho/Jesenskeho, as it was roofed, it was open 24 hrs a day, and the night fare was the cheapest available among all the ones we tried (20 SKK an hour). Plus it was from 17 to 9 am, so morning fare (50 SKK, quite high) is only for 8 hrs. The total count for a day sums up to about 15 euros which would be quite normal in a parking here in Italy for one whole day.
Also get prepared to swear a lot while trying to find your way in the labyrinth of one way streets around Jedlikova Ivo from Italy wrote on 25.10.2005: The apartment was good enough but it was dirty and the exterior of the building was very old and dirty. It has a very good position to see the city (near Old Town) but it was dirty and old.England from UK wrote on 13.09.2005: The apartment Jedlikova was described, although..... The refridgerator was not clean, I had to clean it. The heating system did not function initailly, I sorted it and advised your collegue. The out door area was untidy, has dirty discarded rugs, towels, as well as dirty table and chairs which we cleaned. A very bad smell from the drains was evident. It was easy to find, close to local transport and the old town, ideal location.Erich from UK wrote on 09.06.2005: We were satisfied with the quality of the apartment. However, particularly the quality of the pillows was poor, and should be improved for what we understood to be a top of the range apartment. Also the carpet/rugs were very dirty. If the apartment would address the above two points, we would very much recommend it. The location is quiet and central.Victor from Mexico wrote on 04.06.2005: I was pleasenty surprised because I have had some dissappointments in the past with some other European accomodations which look very good in the pictures but disastrous in the reality, but Jedlikova apartments were as promised. The apartment is quite clean, spacious, private and conveniently located.
