Apartment No. 29 is a large reconstructed apartment located in the green and quiet part of Bratislava's Old Town in Klemensova street less than ten minutes walk from the Old Town's pedestrian zone.

The apartment sleeps up to six persons in three bedrooms - two large bedrooms for two persons each and one smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom is accessed from the main bedroom. The toilet is separate and accessed from the main hallway.

The apartment is beautifully furnished to the highest standard with hardwood floors, high ceilings and white walls. Large living room includes new Ikea furniture and two sofas as well as cable TV.

Apartment's kitchen is fully fitted and features a large kitchen table that seats six people. A supermarket is available nearby.

There is a PC with non-stop broadband internet connection available in the hall. The apartment is non-smoking, but smokers can use the separate well ventilated loggia.

Apartment No. 29 is located on the top, fifth floor of a residential building without an elevator and is therefore not suitable for guests who may have difficulty with the stairs.

The apartment size is 120 square meters or approx. 1,292 square feet.

Minimum stay of two nights is required.

Tram tunnel under the castle hill is undergoing reconstruction until September 2010 (estimated). Changes to the tram service include closing of the lines no. 11 and no. 14. Tram no. 16 replaces these lines with the service from Komisarky (Raca district) via city centre (Obchodna, SNP square and Kamenne square) to Astronomicka (Ruzinov). See the detailed timetable. Trams no. 1, 5 and 9 are re-routed via SNP square, Ludovit Stur square and the Danube embankment.

Reconstruction of tram tracks near Trnavske Myto affects tram lines no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14. Bus lines no. X6 and X14 service the affected stops.

From Main Train Station take tram no. 13, get off at Jesenskeho Street walk back 50 meters towards the intersection with Sturova. Cross the intersection and enter Grosslingova Street on the left. Walk about 250 meters, turn right into Klemensova. Apartment is located in the corner building.(15 minutes)

From Bus Station take bus no. 50, get off at Safarikovo nam. Walk about 150 meters following the tram tracks on Sturova street. Then turn right to Grosslingova street. Walk about 250 meters, turn right into Klemensova. Apartment is located in the corner building.(13 minutes)

I will shortly answer to your questions by saying that everything
was perfect. The apt was excellent, very well positioned with all
the amenities we needed, the owner could not have been more
helpful, transfer from and to the apt was great, all the info's
given by the owner was very useful and we would definitely book
the same apt when staying in Bratislava again.

The apartment was fantastic and exactly as described!!!! It was even worth the 5 flights of steps we had to climb to get to it!!

I would recommend Apartment 29 to all people. It was good for a group of friends (as we were) and I imagine for couples or families as well. It was clean and modern and the facilities were good.

The apartment was lovely, although the 114 steps to get to it (yes, we counted!) were a killer. Even for young, fit people, it was a nuisance, so I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone very unfit/overweight, old, or with knee problems. But aside from that, yes I would recommend it for small groups. Our group had the maximum of 6 people for that apartment, and we did find the single bathrooom troublesome, since it is through the main bedroom, which involved (a) waiting for the people in that bedroom to get up, and (b) queueing. You might want to highlight that in the description, as it really was a drawback, but would not be as big a problem for families as it was for our group of single people.

The apartment was fantastic! Everything (and more) that you could possibly need for your stay. Of course there are over 100 stairs up to the apartment, so only for people who are reasonably fit. Transfers to and from the airport were also excellent, I arranged these with the apartment manager.
