I travel a great deal on business and for pleasure and was delighted with the standard of accommodation offered by Apartment Old Town. It was beautifully and stylishly decorated (exactly as per internet), spotless, well appointed and peaceful. Far preferable to staying at an hotel and excellent value. The owner was charming and gave us some good suggestions of how to get the most from our short break.

Apartment Old Town is a one bedroom apartment suitable for up to four persons, situated on a quiet tree-lined street in the centre of Bratislava.

The apartment is comprised of a large living room with leather sofa bed (double) and dining table, a modern fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with double bed, desk and walk in wardrobe, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet and balcony overlooking the tree tops.

The main interesting sites of the Old Town are within walking distance and a public park is just a 150 metre stroll away. Restaurants and bars are also nearby, and for those wanting to self cater a Tesco supermarket is just a two minute walk away.

The apartment is located on the third floor in a residential building without an elevator. It is 68 sq. metres (approx. 731 sq. feet) and can comfortably accommodate up to four persons.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed. Available breakfast: For a surcharge food can be provided in the apartment. There are a wide selection of cafes, coffee houses and restaurants where breakfast can be bought. Or if guests prefer to self cater a Tesco supermarket is very close..

To get there by public transport:
From Airport take bus no. 61 and get off at Racianske namestie. Walk back, cross the street and take tram no. 11 (direction Stare Mesto). Get off at Marianska stop. From the stop turn right, cross the street and continue straight to Dobrovskeho street. Apartment Old Town is on your left (30 minutes)

From Main Train Station take trolleybus no. 201 and get off at Trnavske myto (fourth stop). Use the underground passage and change to tram no. 14 direction city centre (Stare Mesto). Get off at Marianska stop. From the stop turn right, cross the street and continue straight to Dobrovskeho street. Apartment Old Town is on your left (25 minutes).

From Bus Station take trolleybus no. 206 and get off at Spitalska stop (second stop). Continue in the same direction as trolleybus and cross the street. Then turn left and cross the street again. Walk for another 50 meters and then turn right into Dobrovskeho street (dead end street). Walk for another 20 meters. Apartment Old Town is on left (15 minutes).

From Czech Republic:
Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street, pass Main Train Station and continue on Stefanikova street towards Hodzovo square with Presidential Palace. On traffic lights on Hodzovo square turn left. On your right you pass Hotel Crowne Plaza, continue straight and on traffic lights turn right. On next traffic lights keep on the right side, pass the tram tracks and then turn left. Continue straight, road name becomes Mickiewiczova. Take first turn right towards Ulica 29. Augusta and then again on traffic light turn right to Spitalska street. First turn right into Dobrovskeho street (dead end street) and Apartment Old Town is on your left.

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge on Staromestska street to the first traffic lights. Drive underground and continue straight and on traffic lights turn right. On next traffic lights keep on the right side, pass the tram tracks and then turn left. Continue straight, road name becomes Mickiewiczova. Take first turn right towards Ulica 29. Augusta and then again on traffic light turn right to Spitalska street. First turn right into Dobrovskeho street (dead end street) and Apartment Old Town is on your left.

The Apartment Old Town was exactly as described on your website and was even better than we expected when we got there. We found the Apartment to be very clean and ideal for our needs during our stay. The location was ideal for getting about the City and was very good value for money. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who was wishing to visit.

The descriptions of the Apartment were very accurate. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment, which was clean, modern and very well equipped. It was spacious and very well kept- I would definitely recommend staying here to others. The apartment was very well located- just a short walk away from town (and Tesco is round the corner which is handy). The owner was also very helpful by giving us lots of tips and recommending places to go, and also by providing airport transfers. Staying in an apartment, even for just two nights, worked really well for us as the quality of hotels do not generally seem that great.
