The Apartment Opera 1 was in the perfect location close to the river, tram stops, bars, shops and places to eat. We were made very welcome at Bratislava Airport by the apartment owners, communication with them by e-mail and telephone was good, they also arranged our airport transfer and were easy to contact when our flight was delayed.

Apartment Opera 1 is a one-bedroom apartment located in the historical centre of Bratislava right next to the Slovak Philharmonic concert hall, two minutes from the Opera and the pedestrian zone of the Old Town.

The apartment is fully renovated and furnished in Art Deco style. A large living room features a double-bedded sofa and a pool table. The bedroom has the two separable beds and a wardrobe. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes microwave, fridge, oven, kettle and a toaster. Bathroom includes bath tub and a toilet. Apartment includes air-conditioning.

The apartment is located on the ground floor. The size of the apartment is 60 square meters or approx. 646 square feet. Apartment Opera 1 sleeps up to four persons.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed.

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Keep to the right and exit the bridge using first exit. Pass under the bridge, on the traffic lights turn to the left (almost 360 degrees) and continue along Danube river bank. Pass under the bridge once again and continue on Razusovo nabrezie (Razus embankment) until second traffic lights. Turn to the left, pass Ludovit Stur statue and turn right to the Medena street. Apartment Opera 1 is on your left.

From highway D61:
Pass IKEA and Hypernova shopping malls and follow the "centrum" (city center) traffic signs. Drive straight towards Pristavny most (Port bridge), below the overpass to the roundabout. Follow the "centrum" sign. You are now on Pristavna street. Drive straight down the street, continue straight to the Landererova street. In the end of Landererova street turn to the left to Dostojevskeho rad. Pass the traffic lights and continue on Vajanskeho nabrezie (Vajansky embankment). On next traffic light turn right pass Ludovit Stur statue and turn right to the Medena street. Apartment Opera 1 is on your left.

The apartment was in an excellent location and clean. It was quite good for one or two days, but I'm not sure for more than that because the kitchen was difficult to work in and the dining room chairs were very low and unstable. We would also suggest a mat to wipe your feet before entering the apartment. The hosts were very kind and greeted us promptly on arrival and departure.

The apartment was gorgeous, amazing location right next to the Carlton Hotel, the best hotel in the city and with the casino at the end of our street we couldn't go wrong, was met promptly by the owners, very pleased thanks!

We were met at the apartment by a very nice girl who was not put out by our late arrival due to a flight delay. The apartment was as described on the web site and was clean and tidy. I would reccomend it and would use it again myself.
