Hotel Baronka is a nicely renovated hotel located a little outside of the city center, at the foot of the Small Carpathian mountains. The hotel is about 20-25 minutes from the Old Town by tram, which stops right by the hotel. Baronka offers decent value for money and beautiful surroundings. Hotel Baronka offers two different room standards - three-star and four-star rooms. Three-star rooms offer satellite TV set, direct phone line, radio, refrigerator and a hairdryer. Minibar is available at three-star singles and is included in price. In addition to the three-star rooms, four-star rooms offer nicer furnishings, more space, air-conditioning unit, safe and satellite LCD TV set. Four-star doubles and suites include wireless internet connection. All suites feature DVD players and coffee making machine. There is a swimming pool, sauna and gym, restaurant and a wine cellar. Buffet breakfast is included in the room prices.

Hotel Baronka Ali from UK wrote on 30.03.2008 2008-03-30:I was very disappointed myself and my whole family with hotel Baronka. Firstly it turned out to be 3stars and not 4stars. Then the hotel was depressing, very dark from inside, very noisy in the corridors, the noises in the rooms next to the room i was staying in on 26, 27 of march, as if they are in the same room with you and as if there is no partition or isolation, for example the fans in the baths of the room next to my room was very noisy as if you are running a very old engine. I am very disappointed and the stay was very expensive and did not worth the money I have paid, finally never again at Baronka, supposedly 4 stars, myself i will not rate it more 2 stars.3
