The hotel was not as nice as expected. The bathroom wasn't clean and the bed broke in the middle of the night. The hotel seemed a little run down and in need of freshening up. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, however the staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice.

Bratislava's Botel Fairway offers decent rooms on a boat anchored on the Danube river embankment very close to the city center - a pleasant 15 minute walk down the Danube promenade.

The Fairway Botel boat offers a restaurant and street parking. Room price includes breakfast.

I would recommend it as a basic hotel with a reasonable location, though I would warn potential guests that it isn't a mecca of social activity. It is very quiet.

The booking was fine and I received my confirmation from the hotel in good time. The hotel was very good, although it would have been nice to have some more tourist information at the hotel; train times etc. were difficult to find out from Reception. The breakfasts are brilliant and the evening meals good too.
