Latest feedback on Botel Marina: The room was what was described on the website and to what we were expecting. The room was clean. The room was slightly small but compact however for a boat is was good. The location was excellent. I would recommend it to others. The staff were very friendly and helpful e.g we wanted some lunch at the restaurant on the boat but were after the hours they serve lunch, however the receptionist called the restaurant and we were able to get a hot meal. The food in the restaurant is high quality and very tasty.Austine from Austria wrote on 13.08.2007 More feedback...
Botel Marina is Bratislava's newest and most luxurious botel (a boat hotel located permanently docked on the river) located on the shore of the river Danube under the castle hill about 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre.
The botel offers 61 beds in 33 cosy boat-cabin size twin rooms, 3 singles and 2 small suites with double beds all equipped with air-conditioning, minibar and TV.
Twin rooms have two separate fixed beds (which can not be connected) and offer limited space to unpack and store your luggage. The two boat-cabin Suites offer double beds and a small ante-room with seating.
Rooms are luxuriously furnished in retro style, albeit small, as you would expect in a boat hotel. The botel is very favourably priced given its near-central location.
The botel offers a gourmet restaurant, as well as a small night bar/club catering mainly to botel guests. Access to the botel is from the river bank via an incline gang-plank not suitable for older or disabled visitors.

Visitors' feedback: Jacki from England wrote on 13.07.2007: I have stayed at Botel Marina before so I knew what to expect, but the eight people that I traveled with on this occasion were very pleased with the Botel and the staff there. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The booking confirmation was received very quickly and when I e-mailed Botel Marina with a query I received an answer in minutes.Mike from UK wrote on 02.11.2006: Botel Marina was as described, excellently placed and we would recommend and use again.Richard from UK wrote on 09.10.2006: We did stay at the botel - i would recomend to anyone staying for just a couple of nights if staying longer you may prefer larger accommodation, its location was excellent! Perfect for the old town. Botel description on the web site was accurate, and reception staff very helpful and very pretty!!!Mabel from UK wrote on 30.09.2006: We enjoyed the Botel Marina. This was in a great location. We are the wrong age for discos /wedding parties etc. (except when we are participating!) so we got along with ear-plugs. Incidentally my guide book had warned that it might be noisy.Dominic from Ireland wrote on 27.09.2006: My stay was comfortable, the staff were friendly, the Botel is well located to the centre, the breakfast was nice and it was quiet. It was well described and met my expectations. It was good value for money.Rajesh from USA wrote on 27.09.2006: We enjoyed our stay at the Botel. We liked the room facilities, computer access in the lobby and the breakfast hall. However, we felt that the receptionists didn't seem to smile too much or be very warm with us.>> Read older feedback for Botel Marina
