Opening hours of shops and restaurants in Bratislava

Grocery Shops
Most small grocery shops in Slovakia are open from 7 am or 8 am on weekdays and close at 6 pm or 7 pm. On Saturdays, shops usually close at noon. Most small shops are closed on Sundays.

Supermarkets
Large supermarkets such as Tesco, Carrefour, Hypernova located at shopping malls are open from 8 am or 9 am to 8-10 pm seven days a week. There is a large Tesco in Bratislava's Petrzalka open around the clock. The central Tesco in the Old Town is open until 9 pm.

Cafes, pubs and restaurats
While the number of establishments serving breakfast has increased, many cafes still open as late as 10 am. During the week many close at 10 pm, although there are some open till 11 pm or midnight, especially in the city centre. Restaurants generally stop taking order for food at 9:30 pm or 10 pm at the latest.

Gas stations
Most gas stations operate around the clock.
