Main train station not serviced by trams until May 6
There is no tram service between Main train station and the city centre
due to heavy reconstruction works on tram tracks. The works started on
April 9 and are scheduled to finish on May 6, 2005. Trams no. 3, 6 and
7 are not on duty, trams no. 1, 2 and 8 are rerouted. Tram line no. 1
starts at Train station Nove Mesto instead and then goes to its regular
terminus in Dubravka. Tram no. 2 starts from Zlate Piesky stop and ends
at Train station Vinohrady. Tram no. 8 starts in Ruzinov, passes via
Train station Vinohardy and ends in Raca.
Passengers are advised to use bus lines no. 81 or 93 or trolleybus no.
210 for the trips from Main train station to city centre. Use buses to
get to Zochova stop or ride trolleybus to its terminus Rajska.
