1. What are the conditions on car rental offered through www.BratislavaHotels.com? Since we usually approach at least two of our partners to get you the best quote, the conditions may vary. However, unless stated otherwise the following conditions apply: A rental agreement, which is in accord with trade laws in the Slovak Republic, is signed by the car rental company with every customer and governs all details of the rental. The rental is payable in full when the car is collected along with a deposit (usually SKK 5000-10000, also payable in USD, EUR, GBP). Some rental partners may require a credit card to guarantee the reservation (this may be supplied to them by fax or telephone). Rental charges and costs of additional services are final and include all taxes. There are no charges per kilometer. Included in the rental is car accident insurance, which covers travel in Slovakia and the whole of Europe except for states of the former Soviet Union. The insurance carries a small deductible and does not cover the driver or passengers. The alcohol limit for drivers in Slovakia is 0. In case of an accident caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol, the insurance is invalidated and the driver is liable for full damages. Rental cars usually have an immobilizer and an alarm system. Equipment consists of a car radio, a spare tire, first aid kit, pulling rope and an emergency triangle. Additional equipment and services can be ordered at a surcharge. The prices offered are directly from rental partners, www.BratislavaHotels.com does NOT place any surcharge on them. www.BratislavaHotels.com, its owners or employees do not enter into legal contract with you. We will give you the mobile phone number and e-mail address directly for your customer service contact at our partner agency. If there are any changes to your itinerary, you are asked to phone the agency ASAP to cancel or reschedule your rental. 2. What are the prices on car rental? You will receive an exact price offer from our staff or directly from one of our partners. Generally, daily rates fall with the number of days. 3. Can the rental car be picked up at any location? Our car rental partners will deliver the car on request at any hour to any location in Bratislava at a small charge. This is usually a good value for money as it saves you taking a taxi to the car rental office. Vehicles can also be collected at the Vienna airport or other locations at a surcharge. Our partners do not provide vehicle collection at other locations in Slovakia or abroad. 4. Who provides the car rental services? The Bratislava Hotels team has searched many local companies to find the ones that offer the best combination of quality service and cheap prices. We have partnered with several car rental companies. When you place a request for services, we usually communicate with several providers to find the cheapest and most convenient option for you. We get paid a small commission on most of these bookings. 5. How long does it take the car rental provider to respond? All partners whose services are offered are contractually bound to respond to requests within 24 hours on working days. If they do not, please let us know. We do not cooperate with partners, which do not meet these conditions to guarantee the best customer service possible. 6. How is the privacy of my information assured? The following outlines the www.BratislavaHotels.com Privacy Policy as regards car rental requests: The information submitted in the Additional services offer request form is processed by our staff and forwarded directly to the partner agency offering the best terms on the given service. www.BratislavaHotels.com only uses your information for two purposes - to get in touch with you if the partner agency requires more information and is unable to contact you and secondly, to request your feedback on the quality of your booking experience with us and the services of the partner agency providing the car rental. If you do not reply to our e-mail request for feedback, we never contact you again by e-mail. We will not send you or allow our partners to send you unsolicited commercial communication. Our contracts with hotels and other partners stipulate that all measures must be reasonably taken to protect the privacy of your information. If you submit your physical address, we may send you a Christmas Card. Occasionally, especially for high season periods, the partner agency may ask you to provide your credit card number or prepay the reservation.
