IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2011 - You can still make it!
The ice hockey event of the year takes place in Bratislava and Kosice in Slovakia until Sunday, May 15, 2011. The final round is played entirely in Bratislava
Tickets available!
Tickets for some games are occasionally still available from Ticketportal, the official ticket seller (but sell out minutes after becoming available).
Through a partner we still have tickets for most top matches available. There are Category 2 tickets and VIP tickets for all key remaining matches.
Arrival
You can get to Bratislava by air, train or car. While the Bratislava Airport is small, Vienna Schwechat Airport is only 40 minutes away and connects the area to most European destinations. A bus runs between the Vienna airport and Bratislava all day (or you can order a taxi for EUR 60).
Bratislava also has good train connections and is on a major highway.
Accommodation
We have a special unpublished price below EUR 100 on a central four star hotel (please inquire at info@bratislavahotels.com). The hotel is a short tram ride from the Orange Arena, stadium where the championship takes place.
