Latest feedback on City Hostel: The description was accurate. Our only criticism would be that the
hotel was rather noisy, but this was due to other guests coming back to their rooms very late at night and was out of the control of the hotel
staff. We found the night receptionist particularly kind, helpful and friendly.Judith from UK wrote on 24.06.2008 More feedback...
City Hostel is a new hostel located on the youthful and lively Obchodna street. The 19 rooms are all equipped with their own en suite toilet and shower, unlike in most other hostels. City Hostel offers single, double, triple rooms and suites.
Obchodna street is restricted to pedestrians and public transport trams. It has a number of popular pubs and clubs. City Hostel is located in the courtyard of a building so the noise from passing trams does not disturb guests.
All public transport stops are close to the hostel making it an ideal choice for guests coming by train or bus. Due to its location the hostel is suitable for young travelers.

Visitors' feedback: Veronique from France wrote on 08.05.2008: The description was quite accurate, we even thought the hotel was better than your description! Location was perfect, everything ok. Maybe, just two remarks: no curtain at the window so we were awoken early by the light of the day + the room was not soundproof enough and we could hear all the noises. The answer of the hotel was really quick, perfect.Luca from Italy wrote on 22.04.2008: Very good location, very clean, receptionists very polite and nice with us. They helped us with different tips.Nick from UK wrote on 25.03.2008: The description was accurate, and location, cleanliness, quality and value for money were all excellent. My only comment is that the mattresses were too thin and therefore quite uncomfortable.Nick from UK wrote on 25.03.2008: I was very satisfied with the booking and the room. City Hostel was better than expected, it was ideal for the type of stay we were looking for cheap but clean and friendly.Riekele from Netherlands wrote on 22.03.2008: The quality of the room was very good. Less nice was, that there were some English guests (men) in the room next to me, who were very noisy in the middle of the night. I couldn't get asleep because of that between 3.00 and 5.00. They banged with doors, shouted and had the TV on loud.>> Read older feedback for City Hostel
