Elton John to Perform in Bratislava on June 1, 2005
UPDATED May 29, 2005 (BratislavaGuide.com) - British musician Sir Elton John will hold an open-air concert in Bratislava Slovakia on June 1, 2005, Slovak media reported.
The concert will be free, sponsored by one of Slovakia's two mobile network operators T-Mobile, which changed its brand from Eurotel at the beginning of May. According to a spokesman for the company, the aim is to hold the largest concert in Slovakia's history and tens of thousands of spectators are expected to attend.
The venue for the concert will be outdoors at the Danube river bank on the Petrzalka side between the Old Bridge and the SNP Bridge. The concert is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
