Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava is a new large business hotel in the centre of Bratislava. It is located by the busy Staromestska Street, which separates the Old Town from the Castle Hill area.

Falkensteiner offers 162 rooms of four types: Comfort and Superior rooms, larger Executive rooms and five Suites. All rooms can accommodate up to two persons, both doubles and twins are available. Hotel does not offer extra beds.

Each room is equipped with a separate air-conditioning unit, an IP-TV, internet connection (paid separately) and hair dryer.

For guests accommodated in Executive rooms and Suites there is Executive lounge with a terrace available. There is buffet free of charge available during the day, newspapers and magazines, internet connection, large LCD TV. The lounge is open 24/7.

Comfort and Superior rooms are 24 sq. metres (approx. 258 sq. feet) each, Executive rooms are 28-34 sq. metres (300-365 sq. feet), Suites are 38-62 sq. metres (409-667 sq. feet).

Tram tunnel under the castle hill is undergoing reconstruction until September 2010 (estimated). Changes to the tram service include closing of the lines no. 11 and no. 14. Tram no. 16 replaces these lines with the service from Komisarky (Raca district) via city centre (Obchodna, SNP square and Kamenne square) to Astronomicka (Ruzinov). See the detailed timetable. Trams no. 1, 5 and 9 are re-routed via SNP square, Ludovit Stur square and the Danube embankment.

Reconstruction of tram tracks near Trnavske Myto affects tram lines no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14. Bus lines no. X6 and X14 service the affected stops.

Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street, pass Main Train Station and continue on Stefanikova street towards Hodzovo square with Presidential Palace. On traffic lights on Hodzovo square turn right. Continue for about 200 metres and then turn right. Hotel Falkensteiner Bratislava is on your right.

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge on Staromestska street to the first traffic lights. Stay on on surface, bear right and turn right at Hodzovo square. Make an U-turn, bear right and turn left to Staromestska street. Continue for about 200 metres. Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava is on your right.
