Film Hotel Bratislava is a cosy three-star hotel near the lively Obchodna street, just a short walk from the pedestrian zone of the Old Town. Film Hotel offers three types of rooms - eight Standard Rooms with ensuite bathroom facilities, three larger ensuite De Luxe Rooms and two Classic Rooms, which share a bathroom and can be used for a family. The rooms are equipped with an individual air-conditioning unit, TV set (with several English language channels), minibar (consumption is not included in the price) and a radio. Film enthusiasts appreciate that each room is named and decorated to honour a film star - Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot and Robert de Niro in the Deluxe Rooms, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Leonardo di Caprio, Richard Gere and Bruce Willis in the Standard Rooms and Marlon Brando and Al Pacino in Classic Rooms. The hotel is popular both with business travelers, families and leisure travelers.

Public transport directionsFrom Airport: Take bus no. 61 (direction hlavna stanica) and get off at Racianske myto stop (15 stops, 22 min). Take tram no. 5 (direction Dubravka) and get off at Vysoka stop (3 stops, 6 min). Walk back 20 metres and turn left to Vysoka street. Film Hotel is on your right. Driving directions for Film Hotel:From Czech Republic: Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street, pass Main Train Station and continue on Stefanikova street towards Hodzovo square with Presidential Palace. On traffic lights on Hodzovo square turn left. Pass Hotel Crowne Plaza on your right and take first turn right. You can park your car in the underground garage to your right or turn left and continue driving down the Vysoka street. Film Hotel is on your left. From Berg border crossing: Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge to the first traffic lights. Do not drive underground, stay on surface and go straight. Pass Hotel Crowne Plaza on your right and take first turn right. You can park your car in the underground garage to your right or turn left and continue driving down the Vysoka street - Film Hotel is on your left.

Film Hotel Brian from UK on a leisure break for a mature couple wrote on 09.04.2010 2010-04-09:We thought that the hotel was a bit expensive for the quality of the accommodation (we had better quality accommodation in Vienna for the same price and I would have expected Vienna to be more expensive). The shower head connection was broken so had to be hand held - this was not sorted before we left. I would not recommend the breakfast which is promoted by the hotel but provided in the restaurant next door, very poor quality and very limited choice for the price charged - it was rubbish compared to the Vienna hotel). The reception staff were helpful but I would have expected a small concession on the cost because of the inconvenience with the shower. I would revisit the city but not this hotel. 3
