Hostel Blues is located in the city centre so you can easily reach anything you need on foot. You might stay in dorms if you like to meet other travellers or in private rooms or apartments if you seek more privacy. There are also female dorms and dorms with double bunk beds for couples and all come with a locker for each guest. We have NON-STOP reception (no curfew) and a bar where local or international beer, wine, soft drinks, snacks and tasty coffee are served. You will also find maps here, guides and daily updated party list with friendly advice from the staff. At the reception there are computers with internet access and Wi-Fi connection, both for free. You can swap books, play musical instruments (guitar, percussions) or play games in the hostel lobby. Common kitchen is equipped with all kinds of utensils. There is also a large LCD TV on the wall of the dining room. If you need to relax you can rest in the comfortable Chill-out room. Regularly, there are live blues concerts, and free dinners organized by the hostel. Further services like elevator, laundry, luggage storage, free bed linen and towels, friendly and knowledgeable staff and good music are always a matter of course. Welcome to Hostel Blues!

Public parking in the street is also available (although very limited at times) for € 0.70 per hour during weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Additional information: If booking double bunk bed for € 12.90 always a pair has to be booked. No dogs allowed.
Cancellation policy: Booking has to be reconfirmed by email or telephone 48 hours prior planned arrival, otherwise it will be cancelled.

Public transport directionsFrom the Airport: Take bus no. 61 (direction hlavna stanica) and get off at Trnavske Mýto (14 stops, 20 min). Change for tram no. 14 (direction Stare Mesto, Namestie Ludovita Stura) and get off at Mariánska stop (3 stops, 6 min). You will be on Špitálska street, then just walk about 100 m towards centre (in the same direction you were traveling), and you will be able to see the hostel on the left side, in the blue CSOB bank building. Look for the Hostel Blues sign. From the Airport: Take bus no. 61 (direction hlavna stanica) and get off at Bajkalska stop (12 stops, 16 min). Change for the trolleybus no. 205 (direction Rajska) and get off at the last stop, Rajska (9 stops, 13 min). Walk behind Coffee&Co past Charlie Centrum Club to Spitalska street. You can find the hostel on your left, in the blue CSOB bank building. From the Main Train Station: Take Bus #X13 and get off at the 3nd stop Kollarovo nam. (6 minutes). Walk downhill towards the tramline, pass the crossroad and walk down the Marianska street. At the end of the street turn right. Look for the blue building with Hostel Blues sign on the other side of the road. From Petrzalka Railway Station: Take bus no. 80 (direction Kollarovo námestie) and get off at the last stop, Kollarovo námestie (6 stops, 10 min). Walk straight downhill to Marianska street. Turn right onto Spitalska street. The hostel is located across the street, in the blue CSOB bank building. Look for the Hostel Blues sign. From Mlynske Nivy Bus Station: Take trolleybus no. 202 or no. 205 (direction Rajska) and get off at the last stop, Rajska (2 stops, 3 min). Walk behind Coffee&Co, past Charlie Centrum Club to Spitalska street. You can find the hostel on your left, in the blue CSOB bank building. Look for the Hostel Blues sign. Driving directions for Hostel Blues:From Czech Republic: Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street, pass Main Train Station and continue on Stefanikova street towards Hodzovo square with Presidential Palace. On traffic lights on Hodzovo square turn left. On your right you pass Hotel Crowne Plaza, continue straight and on traffic lights turn right. On next traffic lights keep on the right side, pass the tram tracks and then turn left. Continue straight, road name becomes Mickiewiczova. Take first turn right towards Ulica 29. Augusta and then again on traffic light turn right to Spitalska street. Continue straight for about 300 meters and then turn left to Rajska street and park the car in the parking lot. Cross Rajska street and you are in front of Hostel Blues. From Berg border crossing: Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge on Staromestska street to the first traffic lights. Drive underground and continue straight and on traffic lights turn right. On next traffic lights keep on the right side, pass the tram tracks and then turn left. Continue straight, road name becomes Mickiewiczova. Take first turn right towards Ulica 29. Augusta and then again on traffic light turn right to Spitalska street.
