It turned out to be just as described, I had actually almost expected worse. It is suitable for everybody (individual or group) that is just looking for a clean, reasonable, friendly, very personal hostel-like place. Bratislava itself was nice and actually very safe and quiet (especially at night, I thought).

Hostel Possonium is located on a major street close to the city centre and the Main Train Station. The hostel provides accommodation in simple double rooms, rooms for four persons and dormitories with 6-10 beds.

The hostel offers mixture of various rooms both with and without ensuite bathrooms and TV. There is one double room with bathroom and TV set available, one twin room with TV set and shared bathroom and one quad room with TV set and ensuite bathroom available.

Several dorm rooms are available with various capacity - six-bed dorm room has its own bathroom available. Other dorm rooms include three eight-bed dorms and one ten-bed dorm which all have shared bathrooms.

The hostel provides guests with bed linens. It also offers laundry and common room with TV set. It is primarily suitable for backpackers and other young travelers, especially due to the shared bathroom facilities.

To get there by public transport:
From Airport: Take bus no. 61 to Hlavna stanica stop - terminus (Main Train Station). (30 minutes)

From Bus station: Take trolleybus no. 210 and get off at Hlavna stanica stop - terminus (Main Train Station). (7 minutes).

From Main Train Station: Take trolleybus no. 210 or 201 or bus no. 74 and get off at Kooperativa stop (first stop). Continue down the street for about 30 meters. Hostel Possonium is on your right side.

From Czech Republic:
Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street and look for Main Train Station (Hlavna stanica) direction. On traffic lights (it would be seventh traffic lights including the ones next to Hypertesco Lamac) turn left to Sancova street. Continue about 100 meters. Hostel Possonium is on your right (after you pass the bus stop).

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge to the first traffic lights. Do not drive underground, stay on surface and turn left on traffic lights. You are now in Stefanikova street. Continue straight, pass Presidential palace and another two traffic lights and on the third turn right to Sancva street. Continue about 100 meters. Hostel Possonium is on your right (after you pass the bus stop).
