The room at Hotel Adonis was as described, however, we were extremely disappointed to find that we could not even get a cup of coffee there. The restaurant was closed that evening due to a function the next day, which we found very inconvenient. Since the hotel is so far away from the town, it meant taking a bus or taxi just to get a drink. We would not return to that hotel.

Hotel Adonis is a clean three-star facility offering excellent value for money due to its not so central location in the Vlcie hrdlo part of Bratislava near the river Danube and the Slovnaft Oil Refinery.

The hotel is, however, well accessible by public transport - some 20 to 25 minutes from the city centre.

The hotel is a popular choice for larger families and others who prefer to stay outside of the city centre rustle.

It is also highly suited for tourists on bicycles and others who appreciate natural sights, as it is just minutes from the popular dam along the river Danube used for bicycling, in-line skating and other activities.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed. Available breakfast: SKK 150 (EUR 4.94) per person.

Hotel Adonis was comfortable and clean. I was impressed by the place, although it was a little way out of town. For me it suited quite well as I didn't particularly want to go to a hostel and the Adonis was quite cheap. It was as described and as expected. Not really suited to backpackers, more an older persons place however as a 24 yr old I enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the city.

Adonis was exactly as described and we were pleased. Breakfast was good also. We would stay there again and found it suitable for any type traveler, though familiarity with public transportation is necessary if you don't have a car.

The hotel is well suited for staying just over night if you come with the car; the room was renovated, clean and the price was moderate. It is not well suited for staying several days because the surrounding of the hotel is not very inviting. Principally everything was as described with the exception of the guarded parking lot: It was not guarded, neither by a person nor by video camera, it was just closed with a turnpike.

The rooms were very comfortable and the restaurant with breakfast was also in best quality. Also the staff at the reception was very friendly and competent.
For us it was ok - within 10-15 minutes we reached the city by taxi. We can propose this hotel to other travelers.
