Hotel Antares is excellent hotel, and to be honest I did not expect such services! Everything is so cozy, neighborhood of the hotel is so peaceful, and after hours of work you can really rest there! I really recommend the Hotel. It is really a four-star-hotel, well furnished, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom even offers a tub with jacuzzi. The hotel was a little noisy at night because the walls seem to be not very absorbing. The breakfast was not the best offer - not a big variety to choose from (but the view into the garden is lovely). The staff is a great asset for the hotel - they were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Antares. The hotel is in a good location, is very well appointed and the staff were excellent. We came from Switzerland and this hotel was rather familiar to us, as it was clean and efficiently run, and the prices were about what we would expect to pay back home. I was very satisfied. Positive things: very silent, near to the centre, excellent equipped, friendly service, wonderful garden, non-smoking hotel (although I'm a smoker). It was just as described - if not better - a quiet location not far from the city centre and very clean and well presented. The hotel is new, it has excellent facilities, the breakfast was varied and excellent, it is quiet and away from all the noise of the city. One warning is that it is up quite a steep hill, which might deter some potential guests. The near trolleybus stop was also an asset. (<< Back to Hotel Antares)

The Antares is a real gem of a hotel in a quiet and attractive residential area. The hotel is a very brisk 10 minutes walk to the edge of the Old Town, which was ideal for me. I enjoy walking!! However, there is a trolley bus stop very close to the hotel. There are a couple of local bars between the hotel and town, however, very quickly you are in the heart of the Old Town surrounded by bars and eating places. For some, the location may be a little out of the centre, but it was so peaceful. Excellent location for me.
The Antares is a new hotel and during my stay, was extremely under populated. However, I am sure once it gets discovered by the discerning traveller, it will become busy and summer prospects are probably very good. Rooms are very well appointed, buffet breakfast excellent and a lovely small garden at the rear. A minor comment, perhaps the reception staff could be just a little friendlier-maybe it was a culture or language thing-but I noticed others have said the same. The room was big as told and it was very clean. Breakfast was little poor in our taste and we might little bit expected that the staff had been somehow more gentle. But in Antares they were anyway very polite and there is nothing I can complain about.
For the family travels who have small kids the only negavive point of choosing Antares is that the hotel is in the middle of hill and a little further from the the city center. Small kids are not able to walk so you have to use bus or taxi. But on the other hand the hotel is very peaceful and there is no noise which is also important to us. (<< Back to Hotel Antares)

Hotel Antares offers superb value and it's 4 star rating is well deserved. It is very clean and comfortable without being sterile and being still quite new, everything is in good condition. It has a pleasant atmosphere, the service was excellent and the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, more so than most other hotels I have visited in Bratislava. It is also very well situated in a quiet, attractive residential area. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting something a little bit more up-market but which won't break the bank. The hotel itself is excellent, very comfortable, international standard and brand new which gives the guest a feeling of using some rooms for the first time. It´s not like some hotels where you can see and smell and feel all the thousands of other visitors that have been here before. Not only the design is beautiful and luxurious and detailed but also the staff is very friendly and professional.
