Visitors' feedback:
Marina from Spain wrote on 12.05.2008:
The location was great, very easy to arrive; but cleanliness and quality was not as expected. The second day I was there, nobody went to clean the room, not even to make the bed!!! Breakfast was not available those days because they were holidays...., and the tv had channels only in Slovak. For a 3 stars hotel I expected much better.
Martha from USA wrote on 10.05.2008:
The hotel was centrally located, but very difficult and frustrating to find. The Hotel Corso was not what we expected considering the high price.
The parking lot was very inconvenient to reach, and a gate could be opened only by contacting someone on the third floor. The rooms were on the top floor and it was hard to carry heavy suitcases up all the steps until one reached an elevator.
The mattresses were thin and the beds were hard. We asked for an extra blanket, but none was available. The electrical outlet in my room did not work. The toilet seat was unattached. The girl on duty in the hall outside our room was very polite. She understood a little English or German. Finally she spoke with her boss and got us 25% credit on our charges. Even so, we felt that the rooms were way overpriced. The hotel should be classified as **. We stayed in **** hotels that cost far less.
Michael from Germany wrote on 02.05.2008:
The Hotel was exactly how you descripted it, the hotel was very clean, the room was clean and nice, the personel was absolutly nice, friendly and helpfull.
Michel from France wrote on 11.04.2008:
The rooms were very peculiar : one; n° 4, was a long narrow room, with the 2 beds lined up one behing the other, no way for a couple to sleep together. Impossible also to watch TC from either of the beds, and the 1 and only chair was next to TV, so it was impossible from there too.
You clearly hear your neigbours coming in late at night, thank God there are only 4 rooms.
When we came back from sightseeing for our second night, we had the disagreeable surprise to see that no cleaning had been done in our 2 rooms : beds not made, tea cups still dirty, wet towels on the floor. The reception girl very kindly found us clean towels, and in the end, the owner of the hotel took 12 Euros off our bill.
I would not recommend this hotel and will not go back there, although its location is excellent.
