The bedroom of the hotel was good, but the bathroom was very poor and not very clean, the shower in particular was poor.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very noisy at the front though and there was a disco somewhere one night which was very loud.

Hotel Echo is a standard *** hotel suitable mainly for business travelers or families who do not mind staying a little bit outside of the city center. It is also popular during trade fairs and sporting exhibitions.

The Echo Hotel is some 20 minutes from the downtown by public transport. It is very convenient to Bratislava's football and ice-hockey stadiums, swimming pool Pasienky and shopping mall with cinemas.

The hotel offers sizable, comfortable rooms equipped with satellite TV, telephone and ensuite toilet and shower corner. It also offers a handicapped-accessible room.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed. Available breakfast: Buffet breakfast available at SKK 100 (EUR 3.29).

Discounts: Group discounts over 20 persons available (single room at SKK 1500 (EUR 49.4) per night, double room at SKK 1800 (EUR 59.28) per night).

To get there by public transport:
From Airport take bus no. 61, get off at Zimny stadion. Cross the street to the opposite side and change for bus no. 78 (direction Dolne Hony - Cilizska) and get off at first stop (Bajkalska stop). Walk 50 meters straight and then turn right. Hotel Echo is on your right. (20 minutes)

From Train station take bus no. 61 or no. 74 and get off at Bajkalska stop. Walk back and cross the busy intersection straight forward. Turn left and walk 50 meters, then turn right. Hotel Echo is on your right. (10 minutes)

From Bus station take trolleybus no. 205, get off at Zimny stadion. Change for bus no. 78 and get off at Bajkalska. Walk 50 meters straight and then turn right. Hotel Echo is on your right. (15 minutes)

Driving directions for Hotel Echo:
From highway E75 turn right to road 61 (Bajkalska street) and continue straight. Pass crossroad with Prievozska street and keep on Bajkalska until you pass Hotel Holiday Inn building on the right side. Pass above Ruzinovska street (street with tram tracks) and turn right to get under the overpass. You are now on Zahradnicka street. Continue for about 150 meters and take first turn to right to Sandrisova street. Take second turn to right to Presovska street. Hotel Echo is on your left.

From Czech Republic:
Continue straight down the highway E65, cross several traffic lights (after Hypertesco Lamac store pass 6 traffic light) and drive direction city center (centrum). Continue to Prazska street and look for Main Train Station (Hlavny stanica) direction. On traffic lights (it would be seventh traffic lights including the ones next to Hypertesco Lamac) turn left to Sancova street. Follow the Sancova street all the way down and go straight on all traffic lights. After you cross the tram tracks for the third time you will by on Trnavska street. Take turn right to Bajkalska street on the second traffic lights (you will pass ice hockey stadium on your left) and then first turn to the right again. You are now in Presovska street and Hotel Echo is on your right.

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Continue straight from the bridge to the first traffic lights. Do not drive underground, stay on surface and turn left on traffic lights. You are now in Stefanikova street. Continue straight, pass Presidential palace and another two traffic lights and on the third turn right to Sancova street. Follow the Sancova street all the way down and go straight on all traffic lights. After you cross the tram tracks for the third time you will by on Trnavska street. Take turn right to Bajkalska street on the second traffic lights (you will pass ice hockey stadium on your left) and then first turn to the right again. You are now in Presovska street and Hotel Echo is on your right.

Yes was very nice staff there and enjoyed it very much.
They could use a small fridge as there is so much space in the room and this would be very highly recommended especially being a three star place, otherwise very happy.

Hotel Echo was quite small but cozy hotel, clean and suitable for our needs. We can recommend the hotel to any traveller, we did receive good service there. Price is quite low, so this is a good thing especially for budget travellers. Of course you have to notice that it is not situated in the centre of the city, but good public transportation helps in that matter.

The hotel is a good choice for travelers looking for excellent value for the price, in a location convenient to the airport or the East side of Bratislava. The staff were excellent. I have no complaints at all, and would recommend Echo to others.

It's a good hotel, because even if it's a little bit outside the city, it's directly bound with the Center through a multitude of busses, so it is really not a problem... Very nice people working in this hotel...

In the given price range this is the best hotel in Bratislava that I have stayed in over the past three years. Why? It's simple - they serve proper breakfast with free choice from a buffet with plenty of coffee, tea and fruit juice.
