I would not stay in Esprit again - the staff were very helpful but the walls too thin which made it noisy when other guests came back late at night. No bar.

Design Hotel Esprit Bed & Breakfast is a modern small hotel in Bratislava - Petrzalka, across the river from the Old Town with views of Bratislava Castle and the historical centre.

There are eight double-bed rooms and four comfort rooms in the Esprit with the option to decide between twin or double beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a bathroom and toilet. The four comfort rooms include a bathtub instead of shower. Television and ADSL internet connection is available in all rooms.

Hotel Esprit also features a cafe with a summer terrace.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed. Available breakfast: Buffet breakfast.

To get there by public transport:
From Airport take bus no. 61 and get off at the terminal stop Main Train Station. From Main Train Station take bus no. 93 get off at Zochova stop. Change for bus no. 80 and get off at next stop (Einsteinova). Walk to other side of street using bridge and walk straight forward. Continute by truning left and go straight. There is a business building with underpass, walk though it. Hotel Esprit is in front of you. (42 minutes)

From Berg - border crossing with Austria:
Turn left to Einsteinova street, at first posible side cut, turn right to Zadunajska street, then turn left, then one more time left and drive arround block and you are at Hotel Esprit. There is ramp and bell, our reception will open you.

From Pristavny bridge:
After crossing river Dunaj turn right to Einsteinova street, then go straight, at your right hand you are going to see Shopping Centrum Aupark, then Expo Area Incheba, after Incheba turn right to viaduct, from viaduct turn right to get back to Einstainova street.
At first posible side cut, turn right to Zadunajka street, then turn left, then one more time left and drive arround block and you are at Hotel Esprit. There is ramp and bell, our reception will open you.

Hotel was excellent, rooms were very nice and clean, service very good. The only negative point was that it was difficult to find by car (but that is not the fault of the hotel). The staff was - although not highly proficient in the English language - very helpful and friendly. Overall, a very nice stay!

The Hotel Esprit was very nice and we were very satisfied with it. The rooms were excellent and the beds were very comfortable. I also really liked the modern decor of the rooms. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and informal which makes a big difference compared to the somewhat stuffy attitudes of hotel staff at certain hotel chains. The location was great with only around a 10 minute walk over the New Bridge into the old town although we did find it more convenient to use taxi's in the evening. I would stay at the Hotel Esprit again and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The hotel was good - clean, and breakfast was good. It is also well located for Aupark Shopping Centre - ideal for wet days! Staff were quite helpful. The only problem was that the bathroom door did not close. We also felt that the bedroom was decorated with a very dark colour - as the room was quite small, the dark brown did not help make it feel any bigger!
