The Hotel was better than described. An excellent hotel - very clean and comfortable, high standard of accommodation, very courteous and helpful staff and exceptional value for money. Also conveniently placed for access to the main places of interest in the old town, but in a quiet street with no traffic noise or other disturbance.

Hotel Marrols is one of Bratislava's nicest and most luxurious hotels in a quieter downtown street, just a short walk from most of the city's attractions as well as the pleasant Danube river bank. The hotel was rated Slovakia's best hotel by Trend Top 2005.

The hotel has beautifully furnished rooms with oak furniture in retro style, very helpful staff and sumptious breakfast.

All Marrols hotel rooms are air-conditioned, non-smoking and offer high-speed internet access, free minibar and free coffee/tea maker. Parking is available at the hotel's underground garage.

Breakfast is included in the price listed (Buffet breakfast).

From Airport take bus bus no. 61 to the Main Train Station. From Train station take tram no. 13, get off at Jesenskeho street. Cross street and walk straight, then walk via Medena street to next crossing and then walk left. Hotel Marrols is on your right. (35 minutes)

From Berg border crossing:
Take route E58 (Viedenska road) until the exit to E75 (Einsteinova street). Follow Einsteinova street. Continue until exit to the Novy most - New Bridge and use it to cross the Danube. Keep to the right and exit the bridge using first exit. Pass under the bridge, on the traffic lights turn to the left (almost 360 degrees) and continue along Danube river bank. Pass under the bridge once again and continue on Razusovo nabrezie (Razus embankment) until second traffic lights. Turn to the left, pass Ludovit Stur statue and turn right to the Medena street. From Medena street take second turn to the right (to the Tobrucka street). Continue about 50 meters. Hotel Marrol's is on your right.

From highway D61:
Pass IKEA and Hypernova shopping malls and follow the "centrum" (city center) traffic signs. Drive straight towards Pristavny most (Port bridge), below the overpass to the roundabout. Follow the "centrum" sign. You are now on Pristavna street. Drive straight down the street, continue straight to the Landererova street. In the end of Landererova street turn to the left to Dostojevskeho rad. Pass the traffic lights and continue on Vajanskeho nabrezie (Vajansky embankment). Turn right to the Kupelna street (it is the second street to the right after the traffic lights). Turn right to the Medena street and take first turn to the right (Tobrucka street). Continue about 50 meters. Hotel Marrol's is on your right.

It is very nice. The personnel are very congenial and helpful. I would say the price was too high for the room--very small, even though nice. Breakfast was good although not "great". Location was outstanding.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Marrol's. This is truly a Hotel functioning at the 5 star level, although it may be too small and/or lack some of the required convention facilities to achieve that level. The hotel exceeded expectations. Well appointed, large and tastefully decorated room with free high speed data line, and FREE MINIBAR!!! (what a concept). It is central and an easy two and one half block walk from the boat dock on Danube River (our arrival point). Just 2 blocks outside the pedestrian only zone makes taxi access easy, but just 2 1/2 block walk to trams and centre. The staff is competent, multilingual, easily and always accessible. Please pass on to them our gratitude for their "over and above" helpfulness in getting to the train station. Good job at the Hotel Marrol's. This is a hotel with resources and personnel who take care of one's needs and make one feel at home.

Hotel was very good quality and as described. Hotel really tried hard to please, so things like internet access in all the rooms was a nice touch. Staff very friendly as well.

All inclusive, including high-speed internet access, enough space in the room to be able to set up the computer and work productively while away from the office.
