Hotel Rapid is a small, modest and friendly hotel located near a large complex of sports fields in the suburban quarter of Prievoz, some 25 minutes from the city center by public transport. A former sports hotel overlooks football stadium and is still sought after by sports teams. The small Rapid hotel offers well-furnished rooms with their own bathroom, toilet, TV, phone and radio at budget prices.

Its location provides peace and calm, far enough from the center to sleep restfully, yet close enough to take advantage of entertainment opportunities and get back by taxi at night.

Hotel Rapid is a particular bargain for small groups of undemanding young travellers (triple with two extra fold-out beds) or other modest leisure travellers.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed. Available breakfast: buffet breakfast SKK 180 (EUR 5.93) for min. 15 persons, continental breakfast for SKK 100 (EUR 3.29) or a la carte breakfast.

From Airport take bus no. 61 and get off at Trnavska stop, change for bus no. 50 and get off at Maximiliana Hella stop. Then you must change for bus no. 66 and get off at Krasna stop. (40 minutes)

Good, close to airport, not expensive, clean, friendly staff.

The hotel was absolutely as good as expected. It was a budget hotel, and I asked for that, the staff was friendly and did speak english and german, the hotel was clean and I was very pleased to know, that you could buy water, a few post cards and other smaller items in the reception. The restuarant in the hotel was nice, we were pleased with the breakfast menu and again, the staff working there were helpfull and friendly to us. I will recommend this hotel to friends and others for the cheap price, the clean rooms, the friendly staff, the well-organized reception with 24 hour service and the restaurant included. People should know that they have to spend about 20 minutes with a local bus to get to the center, but if you can live with that, you can save some money and get to know another and pleasant part of the Bratislavian city-life. One warning for travellers to come: buy your bus tickets (and a lot of them) while you are in (the old) town, because the ticket-automat placed nearest to the hotel Rapid was so often without tickets.
