Hotel Sorea in Bratislava, Slovakia Hotel is convenient to (map ): Downtown Train st. Bus st.
Latest feedback on Hotel Sorea: This hotel was a fantastic value. It was like a major chain luxury hotel for 1/2 the price. It was clean, though one of the beds was broken when we arrived there. For the most part the staff was friendly though the girl who worked at reception during the morning our first day was a bit impatient. This may have been because she didn't speak English very well.Julia from CZ wrote on 31.07.2007 More feedback...

Sorea is a cheaper hotel, sunny and clean , located on the castle hillside overlooking the Danube river, surrounded by trees. Only a short tram ride from the downtown of Bratislava, Sorea nonetheless offers a budget-priced 3-star option for the less demanding leisure or business traveller.
All rooms contain ensuite facilities (toilet, shower), telephone and a TV. The hotel also offers better-appointed "business" rooms at a surcharge.
Sorea Hotel is owned by the Slovak labor unions - therefore, you are often likely to run into large troops of Slovak pensioners who receive hefty discount.
The upside is, of course, that they go to bed early and there is a wealth of organized sight-seeing trips available for them directly from the hotel.

Visitors' feedback: Franck from France wrote on 19.07.2007: The hotel was as expected. Good service and overall value. The room was large and sunny, with internet connection which is very nice. However the room was not cleaned everyday.Julia from Italy wrote on 18.02.2007: The hotel was very easy to find with directions given on the site. The design was a soviet-style but the room was very clean and warm and the prices were low. The only thing that I did not like was the size of beds that hardly fitted to my medium hight (so it would be a little bit uncomfortable for a taller person). In general I would advice it for a short stay for young people as a budget hotel. What really impressed me badly was the service.
The lady working on the reception the night of my arrival was not nice and even rude. People in the hotel know very poor English so there were moments of misunderstanding.Marco from Austria wrote on 18.11.2006: I'd say hotel Sorea is for the younger traveler who is looking for a comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price!Markus from Germany wrote on 16.10.2006: Sorea can be recommended. Very nice scenery with view to the Danube river. Quiet. Rooms a bit old fashioned but clean. The hotel was a bit hard to find.Philippe from France wrote on 26.09.2006: We stayed at Hotel Sorea and our stay there was very pleasant. Very clean room and general facilities. Only negative point is the "soviet style" attitude of some of the staff members, but not of all (a very pleasant young lady at the reception desk when we arrived). In general our experience was better than described on your website by other guests who stayed at this hotel previously.Thomas from Austria wrote on 02.11.2005: Quiet, pleasant hotel, near city centre.>> Read older feedback for Hotel Sorea
