Oh, my... Is this place different, especially taking into account you will find it in Bratislava. A wildly colourful artsy structure located a stone throw from the main train station (easy to see, not quite as easy to walk to) offering health foods and special hypnotic treatments. By now you can probably tell whether you would love or hate the place.

Check out the special deals for groups of four to six in the garden suite (on site facilities). The hotel is affiliated with the Academy for Extraordinary Mental Abilities, which is striving for accreditation as an official university. Don't be concerned about any kinds of nuttery, the Spirit is a special place to stay and many of its past guests completely swear by it.

Rooms in the Spirit Hotel do not have ensuite facilities, these are located in the hallways and shared.

My booking experience was good, the hotel confirmed my booking in a reasonable time, the hotel was as described and I would recommend it to other travelers. The only problem I had was the fact that the reception wasn't able to give me some information about tramways.

The room was very dirty indeed (cigarette ends, spider webs and dust on the floor), we had only cold water and neither breakfast nor service or stuff suited the description of the hotel, claiming to possess a very different "spirit". Therefore, I would definitely NOT recommend the hotel to other travellers. The service it offers is roughly one of a Youth Hostel, although the price is for a hotel.

I have to inform you that although it was cheaper than expected the hotel did not match the specifications presented in the web page, namely the was no bathroom in the rooms but a general bathroom and state of bed (couch) was so bed that it crashed as I tried to sleep on it.
