The stay in your hotel was really OK. The hotel was actually a bit better than expected from the description on the website.
From only one night not a relly representative feedback but:
- Room was warm and nice.
- very clean
- staff was kind
Recommendation - please inform about porn TV channels especially for the families with minors.

Tatra is a traditional downtown business hotel, which has been in operation since 1930. It is the nicest 3-star hotel in the central part of the city.

The hotel offers very comfortable, modern accomodation and is extremely convenient to Bratislava's nightlife. Tatra has been refurbished quite recently and most rooms are now air-conditioned and equipped with smoke detectors. This makes Tatra an excellent value, especially in the view of its location.

Breakfast is included in the price listed (buffet breakfast).

From Airport take bus no. 61 and get off at main train station terminus. Take bus no.93, get off at Hodzovo namestie stop, walk to underground passage, go to the left and up to ground level, walk about 50 meters. (30 minutes)

From Main Train Station take bus no. 93, get off at Hodzovo nam. stop, walk to underground passage, go to the left and up to ground level, walk about 50 meters. (5 minutes)

I was already there in 2007 and enjoyed my stay. However, a few comments should be done: 1) Last time in 2007 I had a larger room; 2)
The air-conditioning system carries around smoke from other rooms-it would be nice to avoid this for non smokers, as we are... 3) The same applies to the restaurant, since the smoking area is too close and in fact has to be crossed by non smokers to enter the non-smoking area.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff were very nice at check-in, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was well worth it. It would have been helpful to have an alarm clock in the room so we could know what time it was (my cell phone didn't work and neither of us had a watch!). However, the front desk was very helpful in placing wake up calls for us.

I was a bit disappointed after the Vienna Inter City Hotel in which for a single room I paid 77 Eur. The room at the Tatra is too small, the bed was less comfortable and it was too noisy, so I could hardly sleep when I opened the window. Consequently it was not value for money. On the other hand the staff was polite and helpful and your town wonderful.

The Hotel Tatra was good and personnel were friendly. We requested a 3 bed room, but the 3rd bed was VERY uncomfortable, there was space for a proper couch, but this was rather like a raised mattress. Breakfast was good. The position of the hotel is excellent.
