Hotel Zvarac is cheap and clean hotel situated just some 20 minutes from the center of Bratislava. It is a part of Welding Research Institute and hence the name "Zvarac" or "Welder". Zvarac offers budget accommodation with non-stop reception service and no curfew.

Every two rooms have a shared entrance hall with a shower and toilet (shared for both rooms). There is a shared kitchenette on the floor. There are two standards of rooms available. The rooms of the higher standard type are completely reconstructed with radio, as well as TV and fridge in some of the rooms. The lower standard rooms have older furnishings and are thus cheaper.

Breakfast is included in the price listed (Buffet breakfast).

To get there by public transport:
From Airport take bus no. 61, get off at Racianske myto stop. Cross the street and walk to a tram stop. Take any tram going to direction Raca-Komisarky or ZST Vinohrady, get off at Pionierska. Cross the street to the building of Welding Research Institute. Hotel Zvarac is in front of you. (25 minutes)

From Main Train Station take tram no. 3, get off at Pionierska. Cross the street to the building of Welding Research Institute. Hotel Zvarac is in front of you. (12 minutes)

Description of hotel accurate. Staff pleasant & helpful, heating system good, bedding spotlessly clean & good breakfast. If arriving by public transport it could be a little difficult to find as the first thing you see is the car park and, if you didn't know what you were looking for, you might walk past it. Good transport link to station & bus terminus - there is a newspaper kiosk just across the road from tram stop where you can buy the tram tickets. In my view it is good value basic accommodation ideal for sightseers on a budget.

Hotel Zvarac was like described on the website. The rooms are simple but comfortable for people who don't spent their time at the hotel. Our room was clean and people at the reception are friendly.

The room I booked was quite OK, only the bathroom was rather simple and not too comfortable. I can recommend to travelers who do not expect to have luxurious stay for that price - and the breakfast was fine.

The hotel was worse then described, both from outside and inside. No curtains in shower, very inconvenient to take a shower, especially when you share it with somebody else as the whole room is wet. Another bad thing the sound isolation is very poor. You can hear all the noises on the staircases and other rooms, what makes very difficult to sleep, especially if somebody has a kind of party in the room, what happened during the night we were there. So, because of those reasons we had to change the hotel and I would not recommend it to other travelers.

(for this price). I can recommend Hotel Zvarac to other travellers who
don't expect so much especially that you have a breakfast for free
