The Museum of Jewish Culture in BratislavaThe Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava located on Zidovska street is a part of the Slovak National Museum. The museum housed in the late-Renaissance 17th century Mansion of the
Zsigray Family on Zidovska 17 (on the side of the castle hill by the
tram tunnel) is open daily except Saturdays, 11 am to 5 pm.
The
exhibits opened in May 1993 feature the history and culture of Jews
living in the territory of Slovakia since the times of the Great
Moravian Empire. It shows the everyday life of the Jewish community,
furnishing of synagogues, important Jews in Slovakia's History, as well
as a section on the Holocaust.
