Old City Hotel is a quaint small pension-style hotel on the top floors of a historical building directly in the Old Town's pedestrian zone. The hotel offers three types of the rooms. 'Standard' rooms (two triple rooms and one double/twin room) share one bathroom. 'Comfort' rooms (six triple rooms and three double/twin rooms) are equipped with its own ensuite shower and toilet. 'Classic' rooms (one triple room and two double/twin rooms) include a bathroom ensuite. 'Classic' rooms have both entrance and windows situated towards the pub and therefore are more noisy (especially during the weekends). All rooms are equipped with a TV, DVD player (on request) and a radio. A fridge is available at reception. Rooms are non-smoking but there is a smoking area at the reception. The hotel is located on the third floor with no elevator and is thus not suitable for guests who may have trouble negotiating the stairs or carrying their luggage up. The non-stop reception offers drinks and snacks, as well as access to a telephone and fax. The payment must be made in cash in EUR or major foreign currencies, as credit cards are not accepted. Guests with cars must park in one of the nearby paid underground parking garages (approximate cost € 1.40 per hour) about five minutes walk.

Public transport directionsFrom the Airport take bus bus no. 61 to the Main Train Station (25 minutes). From Main Train Station take bus 93 to Zochova stop. Walk through underground pedestrian underpass to its other end, continues below tram tracks, down Klariska, cross through walkway to Michalska, Old City Hotel is the orange building on the corner in front of you (13 minutes). From the Bus Station take trolleybus 206 or 208 to Hodzovo Square, walk past Europa Business Centre down to Michalska - you can see the white tower at top of the street (10 minutes).
