The hotel was excellent, we have stayed at Radisson previously in Berlin and the overall experience was just as good. Location couldn't have been better, the Hotel in general was very clean and our room and in particular the bathhroom was spotless (very important for us). Staff at the hotel very helpful and friendly, concierge, bar staff and reception. The drinks in the bar were a little expensive relative to the prices in bars in the city but we appreciate the 5 star facilities. (<< Back to Hotel Radisson Blu Carlton)3

I confirm that we really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson SAS Carlton in Bratislava, we asked for and received a room overlooking Hviezdoslavovo nam, which was brilliant.

The hotel was probably nicer than we expected - especially the location. We especially loved the location and the fact that it was quite easy to find. This is usually a nightmare for my partner and I. We appreciated the fact that the hotel was signposted from the motorway. We did have one difficulty finding the place because it looked as though the entrance to the garage was a pedestrian only bit. I think another sign there would have made things even easier.
The hotel was fabulous. The staff were so helpful and were genuinely fond of their city. We received a really warm welcome. As my partner and I are lesbians, it was particularly wonderful to experience the warmth and generosity of the staff.
The room was gorgeous and big. Mind you we did end up having to pay for an upgrade to business class because a big group had left the hotel that day and only a smoking room was available in standard class. I'd recommend in future that should that occur an upgrade should be offered at no additional cost.
Three things made this hotel exceptional:
1) The staff who were friendly, helpful and genuinely proud of the hotel and the city
2) The location of the hotel and the fact that it was signposted from the motorway and easy to find. The hotel is a gem located in the heart of the old town of Bratislava.
3) The hotel facilities and rooms were of a high quality. (Mind you we did stay in business class.) The hotel is in a splendid building - both the exterior and the interior are fabulous. (<< Back to Hotel Radisson Blu Carlton)3

The booking and reception arrangments were very good. The hotel is exceptionally positioned and the food in the restaurants is excellent. The breakfast was particularly good and the service superb. My only complaints are that the hotel was not well sign posted and not easy to find - this may have been because of the changes that were in place because of the American Embassy nearby.
