Latest reviews of Sheraton Bratislava Hotel:I visited the Sheraton to review it to be able to better describe it to our visitors. The hotel was a plesant surprise - tasteful and appealing looking through and through. I loved the common areas - the bar, club, restaurant, lobby are all inviting, with quality deisgn and good materials. The friendly staff are predominantly Slovak but mostly with international experience. The rooms and bathrooms were of impressive sizes and the rooms were furnished impeccably in terms of looks and comfort - large sofas or armchairs, several desks, many lamps. All bathrooms had both a shower cabin with a "rain" overhead shower and a bathtub. If I were to nit-pick, I would question the paid Internet policy (though free internet connection and computers are provided at a common room), the "parquet" floors in rooms, which to my (untrained) eye did not seem made of wood but laminate. After the remainder of the new Eurovea development opens in late March 2010, the new Bratislava Sheraton should be a great place to stay, if you or your company can afford it.Andrej (staff) from BratislavaHotels.com wrote on 05.03.2010
Five-star Sheraton Hotel Bratislava is located in the newly built Eurovea quarter by the Danube river, near the Old Town, some ten minutes by foot from the main historic attractions in the pedestrian zone. There are five types of room in the eight floor hotel: Classic, Deluxe, Club Rooms and Junior and Executive Suites. All rooms offer both bathtub and shower in bathroom, an individual air-conditioning unit, laptop-sized safe, a work desk with a chair and a minibar. Internet access is offered in all rooms for € 15 per day. All hotel guests may enjoy free entry to Shine Spa with a swimming pool and several saunas. Deluxe Rooms (sizes 30 - 40 sq. metres) overlook the hotel's quiet courtyard, main square or Danube river. The smaller ones offer also balconies. Club Rooms are located on a preferred floors. Sheraton Club guest rooms offer upgraded amenities, free bottled water and complimentary fitness centre access. Club Room guests also have special access to the Club Lounge. Junior Suites (sizes 42 - 56 sq. metres) offer a sitting area and private terraces. The guests enjoy access to the exclusive Club Lounge. Executive Suites (sizes 60 - 75 sq. metres) offer views of the river Danube. These are luxurious suites with spacious sitting area and bedroom. Guests enjoy access to the Club Lounge. All room types can sleep an extra person at a fee. For business travellers Sheraton Hotel Bratislava offers eight various conference rooms (700 sq. metres combined), business services and concierge.
Breakfast is included in the price listed (Buffet breakfast is served from 6:30am to 10:30am Monday till Friday, during weekend it is served from 7:00 until 10:30am).

Driving directions for Sheraton Bratislava Hotel:From Berg border crossing: Take route E58 (Viedenska road) and drive straight towards overpass. Pass above Einsteinova street and follow Viedenska cesta. Continue under the bridge (Novy most - New Bridge) along with Danube river bank, then turn left and cross the Danube using Stary most (Old Bridge). After you cross this bridge, turn right on the traffic lights to the Dostojevskeho rad. From highway D61: Pass IKEA and Hypernova shopping malls and follow the "centrum" (city center) traffic signs. Drive straight towards Pristavny most (Port bridge), below the overpass to the roundabout. Follow the "centrum" sign. You are now on Pristavna street. Drive straight down the street, continue straight to the Landererova street.
