Slovak Dinner

If you would like to sample traditional Slovak food outside of the bustling city centre in a calmer setting, you can enjoy a delicious traditional Slovak dinner in a stylish small-town Slovak restaurant just outside the city.

The dinner starts with a welcome aperitif - "Grapovicka" (local wine-brandy). Then you will be served a generous helping of "pecena kacka" (roast duck) with "kapusta" (stewed cabbage) and a side-dish of "lokse" (potato crepes), which you can rinse down with wine or beer. The dessert is a traditional strudel with poppy seeds, raisins and apple.

The restaurant is situated in the historical Main Square of the viticultural town Svaty Jur (only ten minutes drive from Bratislava), opposite the Town Hall. In a traditional wine-cellar setting you can enjoy a rich meal typical for the Western Slovakia region based on the traditions of Austro-Hungarian cuisine.

Duration: The dinner takes up to three hours including the transfers.

Group size: Minimum number of participants is 8 persons, maximum is 40.

Price: EUR 27/person. For groups below 8 participants the price is EUR 30/person

Price includes the complete menu, transfer from hotel in Bratislava (both ways) and services of a guide.
