Our experience of the Tower Studio Apartment was even beyond our expectations! It was of good quality, clean and perfect to our needs. The location was superb, in the middle of the old town but no disturbing noise.

Tower Apartment is an attic penthouse studio apartment located in a 16th century house next to the medieval Michael's Tower, in the very heart of the historical Old Town. A historical spiral staircase takes you to the sensitively restored penthouse combining the historical atmosphere of the place with modern amenities.

The studio apartment has a double bed (quality mattress on a platform) and a comfortbale fold-out sofa suitable for two additional persons. It features a fully equipped kitchen with fridge with built-in freezer, microwave oven, cooker, kettle and a toaster. Cutlery, crockery and all kitchen utensils are provided.

There are lot of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby as well as lot of sights of interest making the apartment suitable both for short-breaks or extended stays.

The size of Tower Studio Apartment is 100 square meters (approx. 1076 square feet) of attic space. The apartment sleeps up to four persons. As the penthouse is located on the 3rd floor of a historical building without an elevator it is not suitable for people who might have problems climbing the stairs.

Breakfast is not included in the price listed.

To get there by public transport:
From the Airport take bus bus no. 61 to the Main Train Station. (25 minutes)

From Main Train Station take tram no. 13, get off at Postova stop. Cross the road and the tram tracks to Michalska street (with Michael's Tower). Tower Studio Apartment is in the house no. 2 on your right. (10 minutes)

From Bus Station take trolleybus no. 208, get off at Hodzovo namestie stop. Continue to the crossing at the busy intersection. Cross the street and walk straight forward by the green office building towards Michael's Tower. Continue to the narrow street on the right just below Michael's Tower. Tower Studio Apartment is in the house no. 2 on your right. (15 minutes)

Very comfortable, good amenities, light and airy, well placed with a view down a pedestrian street in the old town. Not suitable for the elderly or those with disabilities - 60 odd steps on the stairs - more active persons will enjoy being high up...

Everything was great, booking was simple and timely, the apartment was great - clean, spacious etc. The manager was very friendly and accommodating about collecting the keys. The only problems I would have is that the Tower Apartment has no lift and the stairs would be hard to negotiate for the elderly or families with young children (pushchairs/buggies etc.). Other than that I would have no problem recommending both you and this apartment in particular.

The apartment was described well: it is very large, with a lot of room to spread out, and in a great location. It was in the center of the city: one of the many apartment windows is visible on most visitors' travel photos of St Michael's tower! We highly recommend it to other travelers. It is also about a 15-20 min walk to the train station (past the presidential palace!)
We knew about the 63 stairs to get to the apartment in advance, so it was more of an adventure than a disadvantage.
